I have been involved in medical education for thirty five years. I have worked extensively with medical student education and am also a former residency program director. My research interests have also focused on medical education, particularly the acquisition of clinical expertise and socialization to the professional role of physician. I believe that we are on the cusp of profound transformation in health care delivery and the role of primary care. I am passionate about how family medicine will fit in to that future. I bring the wisdom of common sense and a patient centered focus to my teaching activities.
