Class of 2024
Why UCI?
I was impressed with UCI Family Medicine's commitment to caring for the underserved. Everyone I met was motivated to providing excellent care for our patients in every setting from the academic UCI Douglas Hospital to the FQHC Family Health Center clinic in Santa Ana to various outreach events in the community with our various partners. I also was excited about the opportunity to use my Vietnamese and improve my Spanish in patient care. Finally, while California is far from my home state of Ohio, UCI really put the family in family medicine and I knew everyone at this program would make me feel at home
