Why UCI?

UCI provided me with exactly what I was searching for: an opportunity to work with underserved communities, close proximity to my significant other, and unbelievably kind residents. I found nice residents everywhere, but at UCI it felt like a whole different level.

Medical Interests:

Global health, health equity, women’s health, integrative medicine

Hobbies:

Hiking/backpacking, cooking new dishes, baking, woodworking

Fun Facts:

1) I love Excel. 2) Cooking has allowed me to better connect to my multicultural background. 3) I love my dog more than anything.

Future Plans:

I hope to run a free clinic or other health-related nonprofit someday. My goal is to provide for some unmet need, whatever and wherever it may be, to reduce health disparities.
