I came to UCI to get an excellent training in medical care and also for the opportunity to serve those who need it most. Through my 3 years as a resident, I got to learn first hand from our grateful patients and dedicated faculty about compassionate care. With that fulfillment, I decided to stay on as faculty and enjoying supervising the resident procedure clinic while helping them learn through patient interaction in the clinic and in the hospital setting. This is my dream job while getting my loan paid for by the Steven M. Thompson Loan Repayment Program.

Besides my love for underserved medicine and resident education, I am also excited to use my skills from my Patient Centered Medical Home Fellowship to work with our department in getting our clinics to be certified as a PCMH site. Overall, with the support of innovative and energetic residents, we are making our workplace a top-notch center to care for our patients of various needs.
